He is survived by: his wife Donna Ward McCoy; his children, Jamie Gordon (Brannon) and Matt McCoy (Whitney); his grandchildren, Bryce Gordon, Jaeden McCoy, Hannah McCoy and Asher McCoy; and his brother Charles McCoy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Hillside Park Baptist Church (7593 E Holly Grove Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery (401 W Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360).
