He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Alex Taylor and Ila Johnson Taylor; and his brothers, Jerry Taylor and Jack Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Linda Templeton Taylor; his daughter Denise Quinn (Choya); his sisters, Janet of King and Judy of King; and his grandson Taylor Quinn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
