She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Wortz and Julia Wortz. She is survived by: her husband Cedric; her children, Jennifer Deang (Justin Appel), Janeen Gill (Daniel Gill) and Jonathan Deang (Melody Deang); her grandchildren, Jared, Daegan, Shannon, Meredith, Natalie, Ian, Emilia and Sophie; and her siblings, Beverly, Duane and Madelyn. She is also survived by her family, her friends, her church family.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the J. C. Green and Sons Chapel (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Holly Hill Wesleyan Church, 202 W Holly Hill Road, Thomasville, NC 27360.
