He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Turner and Fannie Bell Mullins; his son Eric Stewart Turner; and his siblings, Jackie, Junior, Conroy, Barbara and Edith.

He is survived by : his wife Deborah Stanley Turner; his daughters, Angela Turner of Trinity, April Algiere (Tony) of Thomasville and Ashley Powers (Mitchell) of Winston-Salem; his grandchildren, Haven, Ethan, Ayden, Alivia, Parker, Oliver, Levi and Leighlynn; his great grandchildren, Adalynn and Hazel; and his siblings, Mary Booher, Jenny Warden, Robert Turner, Earl Turner, Freddy Turner and Ronnie Neece.
