He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Taylor Amos and Patsy Lee Moran. He is survived by: his wife Lucinda Sharpe; his sister Joan Amos Kennedy; his niece Lea Kennedy Richardson (Michael); his nephew Seth Kennedy (Sandra); his great-niece Zoe Richardson Franck (Eli); his great-nephews, Sid Kennedy, Percy Kennedy and Dylan Richardson; his cousins, Mark Moran (Mitzie) and Alan Moran (Sandy); and his extended family, Ellen Veach, Andrew Veach (Brittany) and Estella Veach.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Faith Community Chapel (345 Faith Chapel Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
