He is survived by: his children, Mark Cooper (Lisa), Stephen Cooper (Renee), Michael Cooper and Kim Key (Nathan); his brother Bobby Cooper (Mildred); his grandchildren, Kobe Key, Elizabeth Holman (Deshawn), Taylor Cooper, Tyler Steed, Trevor Steed (Bella), Jadon Straw, Mason Straw and Shannon Straw; and his great grandchild Zahara "Pumpkin" Holman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Southside Baptist Church (712 Fisher Ferry St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
