He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Stowe and Daisy Merricks Stowe; and his siblings, Gladys Saunders, Ruby Mills, Martha Mills, Infant Vernie Stowe, Isaac "Ike" Stowe and Ben Stowe.

He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Smith Stowe; his children, Kevin Stowe of Basking Ridge, Glenn Stowe of Little Falls, Judi Jackson of Thomasville and Julie Smith of Thomasville; his sisters, Teresa Sechriest of Thomasville and Patricia Carroll of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Michael Beeson, Rodney Beeson, Justin Stowe, Sarah Stowe, Abby Stowe and Kevin Stowe, Jr.; Carole Stenger. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; three-great-great grandchildren.
