She was predeceased by: her parents, John Strickland and Gladys Annie Wilson Strickland; her husband Walter Lee Jones; and her siblings, Sarah Strickland Edwards, Della Ann Strickland, Mary Kathleen Strickland and John Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Leigh Bonifay (Cam) of Lexington and Frank Jones of Winston-Salem; and her grandchildren, Ryan Bonifay (Catherine), Michael Bonifay (Shelby), Anna Bonifay, Zachary Jones, Preston Jones, Rachel Hayes (Bradley), Jonathan Bonifay, Josh Bonifay (Tiffany) and Jennifer Giovannoni (Paul).
