He is survived by: his sons, Jeffery Wayne Everhart (Tammie) of Trinity and Jason Allen Everhart (Angela) of Chapel Hill; his grandson Caden Everhart; his sister Georgia Crayton of Thomasville; his nephews, Rodney Rook (Angie) and Dean Crayton (Barbara); and his pet Tinker.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jc Green and Sons Chapel (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Church (130 Hasty School Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360).
