He is survived by: his wife Cheryle Atkinson Phillips; his daughter Kassie Lynn Phillips Cook (Dylan) of Thomasville; his niece Karri Turner; and his siblings, Rev. James "Jimmy" Phillips, Jr. (Anita) of Logan, OH and Angela "Annegy" Phillips of High Point. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
