He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leonard and Ida Belle Leonard; and his siblings, Colvin, Grover, Luther, Lindsay, Donald, Maverine, Lucille and Mozelle.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kay Comer; his daughter Karen Dawkins (Mike); his granddaughters, Michaela Dawkins and Mariah Dawkins; and his siblings, Harvey Leonard, Frances King, Maggie Smith and John Taylor.
