We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025, at the age of 72, Leona Lewallen (Thomasville, North Carolina), born in Tabor City, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leona Lewallen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Reid Lewallen; her sister Janice Marie Farmer; and her niece Donna Marie Farmer. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Lackey (Brad) of Lexington, Beth Kennedy (Michael) of Lexington, Karen DePolo (Michael) of Easton, Kansas and Kimberly Hedrick (Frankie) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Dakota Hedrick (Sarah), Hayden Hedrick, Lucas Kennedy, Byerly Kennedy, Layla DePolo and Cole DePolo; her great grandchild Charlee Hedrick; and her brothers, Elary Turbeville (Jeannie), Allen Turbeville (Debbie), Douglas Turbeville (Susan) and Michael Turbeville.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Life Center of Davidson County.
