She was predeceased by: her parents, John Obadiah Beck and Virgie Sechrist Beck; her husband Elmer Alexander Coggins Jr.; her former husband Earl Dalton Welborn Sr.; her siblings, Lloyd Clarence Beck and Bernice Beck Curry; and her niece Cathy Saunders.
She is survived by: her children, Earl Dalton Welborn Jr. (Cindy) of High Point, Carole Welborn Wiggs (Mitchell) of High Point and Kimberly Coggins Johnson (Eric) of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Bryan Wiggs (Jill), Chad Welborn and Kathryn Simons (Philip); her great grandchild Emma Welborn; and her sibling's children, Brenda Byrd (Sammy) of Thomasville, L. C. Beck (Elizabeth) of Thomasville and Robert Beck of Thomasville. She is also survived by eight great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the J. C. Green and Sons Chapel (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at the TBD Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery (401 W Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360).
