She was predeceased by: her parents, John Obadiah Beck and Virgie Sechrist Beck; her husband Elmer Alexander Coggins Jr.; her former husband Earl Dalton Welborn Sr.; her siblings, Lloyd Clarence Beck and Bernice Beck Curry; and her niece Cathy Saunders.
She is survived by: her children, Earl Dalton Welborn Jr. (Cindy) of High Point, Carole Welborn Wiggs (Mitchell) of High Point and Kimberly Coggins Johnson (Eric) of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Bryan Wiggs (Jill), Chad Welborn and Kathryn Simons (Philip); her great grandchild Emma Welborn; her niece Brenda Byrd (Sammy) of Thomasville; and her nephews, L. C. Beck (Elizabeth) of Thomasville and Robert Beck of Thomasville. She is also survived by eight great-nieces and great-nephews.
