She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadie Hill Sheffield and Roe Sheffield; her husband Stacy Maynard; and her siblings, Evelyn Gray, Willard Sheffield and James Sheffield.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Frengs (Ken) of New London and Angie Perdue (Larry) of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Brad Goins (Olivia), Darren Goins, Matt Frengs (Julia), Lauren Harris (Matt), Abigail DuBois (Edward) and Elizabeth Perdue; her siblings, Billy Sheffield (Susan) of Thomasville, Lucy Stilwell of Thomasville and Edith Larson of Cedar City, Utah; and her brother-in-law Sam Gray. She is also survived by her ten great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery (401 W Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Greenwood Baptist Church, Meals on Wheels of Davidson County or Hospice of the Piedmont.
