With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Luther Monroe Yow (Thomasville, North Carolina), born in Asheboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 24, 2025 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alan and Dorothy Pritchard Yow; and his siblings, Jeanette Yow, Brenda Yow Nichols and Larry Yow.
He is survived by: his sons, James Monroe Yow (Mary) and Steven Andrew Yow (Stacy); his wife Sandra B. Yow; his grandchildren, Corey, Sarah, Chris and Berkley; and his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Iris and Enzo.
