He is survived by: his close friend Sylvia Thompson of Thomasville, NC; his children, Shaquille Thompson of Thomasville, NC, Marvin Johnson Jr. of Thomasville, NC and Bernard Johnson of Philadelphia, PA; his grandchildren, Tahj Norris, Camren Thompson, Kaydence Thompson and Joshua Johnson; his siblings, Richard Johnson Jr. (Laura) of Columbia, SC, Albert Johnson of Greensboro, NC, Carol Clark (Richard) of Columbia, SC and Elaine Snead (James); and his brother-in-law Ernest Brown of Sumter, SC.
