She was predeceased by: her parents, Hillis Magee and Mildred Leonard Magee of Davidson County; her husband Jack Preston Murphy; her son Scott Murphy; and her brother Jim Magee.
She is survived by: her son Donald Preston Murphy of Jamestown; and her siblings, Joyce Craven (Albert), Bonnie Cox and Bill Magee. She is also survived by granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
