She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Edwards and Elva Tilson Edwards; and her siblings, Rosie Mae Tipton, Ronald Edwards and Daney Edwards.
She is survived by: her husband James Ray Carter; her son Tim Carter (Barbara) of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Clint Carter (Becky) of Thomasville and Emily Vazquez (Julio) of Thomasville; and her great grandchildren, Bryson Carter, Alyson Carter, Elena Vazquez, Elijah Vazquez, Gaige Carter, Gavin Carter and Shayla Vazquez.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Faith Community Chapel (345 Faith Chapel Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the spouse for expenses.
