She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Kimrey and Evelyn Watts Kimrey; her son Jeff Hooker; her grandchildren, Davie and Nathan; and her pets, Petey and Bentley.

She is survived by: her children, Kenny Hooker (Tanya), Dale Holdaway (Karen) and Teresa Smith; and her grandchildren, Terri Brown, Ashley Kelley, Chris Hooker, Jessica Malcolm and Troy Whittington. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
