The memory of Melissa Ashley Gillaspie (Thomasville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 53, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Melissa may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her mother Dixie Crawford; her children, Logan (Jenni) and Olivia (Danny); her brother Matthew (Heather); her niece Rebekah; and her grandchildren, Maggie and Liam.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Sechrest-Davis Funerals & Cremations (18 Randolph St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
