He is survived by: his wife Janet Lewis Kennedy; his daughters, Mindy Adams (Austin), Sara Everhart (Loren), Emily Grimes and Catherine Newsome; his grandchildren, Deklynn, Kinsley, Daymien, Cali and Rylie; and his siblings, Mark Kennedy (Mee), Matthew Kennedy and April Kennedy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Thomasville Church of God (1200 W Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360). Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
