She was predeceased by: her parents, Montie Elberson and Edith Bodenheimer Elberson; her brother Walter Elberson; her husband Clifford Jackson; and her children, Randall Alford, Kathy Alford and Jeff Alford.
She is survived by: her son Michael Yates of Thomasville; her granddaughters, Niki Kimrey of Advance, Courtney Sowers of Lexington and Michaela Yates of Thomasville; her daughter Terry Payne of Thomasville; and her godson Tony Ray Carriker of Summerfield. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
