It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Gallimore of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover "Lum" Scales Robertson and Mary Kathryn "Kat" Shermer; and her brothers-in-law, Ronald Kennedy and Rod Huffman. She is survived by: her husband Glenn "Doak" Gallimore; her children, Tammy Kennedy of Maggie Valley, Tim Kennedy (Jessica) of Asheboro, Tracy Krohn of Salisbury and Kyle Surratt (Mindy) of Thomasville; her stepsons, Glenn Gallimore, Tom Gallimore (Cindy) and Todd Gallimore (Darla); her siblings, Deanna Kennedy of Trinity, Janie Hoffman of Atlanta and Mike Robertson of Thomasville; and her friend Kathy Nance of Denton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the J. C. Green & Sons Chapel (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360).
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be given to Shrines Children's Hospital of Greenville, SC in honor of Myleigh Surratt ONLINE HERE (https://www.shrinerschildrens.org).
