He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Whitlock and Doretha Whitlock of Yadkin County; and his wife Margaret Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Valerie Leesch (James) of Buffalo Grove, IL; and his grandchildren, Gerald and Rowan.
