He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Spann Sr.; his brother Izell Spann; and his nieces, Tanyell Spann and Delma Thomas. He is survived by: his mother Julia M Spann; his daughter Tonya Singleton; his grandchildren, Tanashia Singleton Epps, Tyesha Singleton, Vincent Singleton and Severen Singleton; his siblings, Essie Brown (Henry), Barbara Thomas, Ernestine Thomas, Sandra Rich (Mike), Gloria Chadmon (Rodney) and Thomas Spann; and his close friends, Kevin Bryant, Brent Ruffin and Aniya Perry. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
