He is survived by: his wife Frances Buckner York; his children, Debbie Hill (Rick) and Jeff York (Kris); his grandchildren, Lauren Hill, Sarah Stirewalt (Jacob), Jay York and Hannah Fowler (Josh); his great grandchildren, Maggie, Mollie Stirewalt and Melody Fowler; his brothers, Ronald York, Raleigh York, Jr. (Juanita) and Bill York (Joyce); and his sister-in-law Doris Taylor. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Jc Green & Sons Chapel (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360).
