He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Glenn Baity and Vivian Mae Hall Baity; his son Robert Glenn Baity, III; and his siblings, Tony Baity, Donald Baity (Coffee), George Baity, Jackie Baity and Joan Crotts.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Trimnal; and his children, Rebekah Baity (Robert) of Thomasville, Paula Robertson (Mitchell) of Mt. Airy, Patricia VanDeventer (Ron) of Salisbury, Donald Baity of Thomasville and Wayne Baity of Thomasville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
