He is survived by: his spouse Terry King Carriker; his son Chris Okarmus (Becky) of Crestview, FL; his stepson Tony Ray Carriker, Jr. (Heather) of Summerfield, NC; his grandchildren, Matthue Okarmus (Christina), Raelyn Carriker and McKenzie Carriker; his great grandchild Nora Okarmus; his niece Pam Guyer of Oakwood, GA; his nephews, Mike Griffin (Laura) of Wallburg, NC and Marty Griffin (Jennifer) of Kernersville, NC; his close friend Glenn Barefoot; and also Glenna of Dunn, NC..
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (423 Cecil St, Thomasville, NC 27360).
