He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Luther Turner and Melba Stuart Turner of Trinity; his wife Ava House Turner; and his siblings, Dale Turner (Cathy) of Trinity and Barbara Williams of Trinity.
A graveside service will follow in Blackburn Family Cemetery, North Fork New River Road, Lansing, NC, with full Military Honors. in lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The American Cancer Society PO Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741.
