Roy Harris Summey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Harris Summey (Thomasville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Roy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis William Summey and Evelyn Briles Summey; his spouse Shirley Ann Kindley Summey; his son Randy Summey; and his brothers, Clayton and Wayne Summey.
He is survived by: his brother Mack Summey (Thelma) of Trintiy. He is also survived by three nephews and a niece.
