It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Neal Lewallen (Thomasville, North Carolina), who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Beeson Sr. and Iris Matthews Beeson; her siblings, Ira, Jack, Wade, Charles, Joe Beeson and Linda Beeson Silva; and her husband Billy J. Lewallen.
She is survived by: her sons, David Lewallen, Sr. (Harriet) of Trinity and Jeff Lewallen (Lisa) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, David Lewallen, Jr. (Tiffany), Keri Lewallen (Joel), Shannon Colvin (Ryan), Leah Ryan (Marc), Bill and Charles Beeson, Jr. (Michelle); and her great grandchildren, Sophie Hughes, Enoch Hughes, Andrew Beeson, Stella Ryan, Miles Ryan, Ryan Beeson, Jacob Beeson and Boggs Colvin.
