With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shelby Dean Brinkley (Thomasville, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, James L. Carpenter and Cassie Shinault Carpenter; her husband Herman Glenn Brinkley; and her siblings, Clarence Carpenter and Helen Sisk.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Beechy (Harley) and Darrell Brinkley (Lorie); and her grandchildren, Selena, Madi and Rebekah. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and numerous special friends and members of her church family.
