Shelby Jean Hampton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelby Jean Hampton of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Frank Cranford and Thelma Godfrey Cranford; her husband Hollis Martin Hampton; and her brothers, Charles Ray "Hoot" Cranford and Donald "Donnie" Eugene Cranford.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Hampton Huneycutt (Woody) of Thomasville; her granddaughters, Kristin Atwood (Preston) of Thomasville and Kyndal Hubbard (Justin) of Thomasville; her brother Jesse Darold Cranford of Wills Point, Texas; her great grandchildren, Lennon Hubbard, Nixon Hubbard, Rhett Atwood and Indie Atwood; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kaylee Atwood and Alyssa Atwood.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Hill Memorial Park (401 W Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360).
