She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Brown and Mattie Pearl Woodard; and her siblings, Nancy Borders, Wade and Arris Brown.
She is survived by: her former husband Wade E Banks; her husband Henry P Dula; her children, Cynthia Banks of Raleigh, NC, Maury Banks (Scarlette) of High Point, NC and Brian Banks of Lithonia, GA; her sister Illa Leslie (Augustus) of Fairfax, VA; her sister-in-law Martha Brown (Wade); her grandsons, Bradley Banks, Brandon Banks of Charlotte, NC and Nicolas; her great grandchild Rayden Banks; and her friend Dorothy Borders.
She joined Friendship Baptist Church in late 1966 where she worked with the kitchen committee and was Church Clerk for over 25 years, retiring but still active until the COVID pandemic.
