He was predeceased by : his parents, Reverend James Jefferson Grant and Dorothy Sue Canipe Grant; and his brother Steve Grant. He is survived by : his son Paul Steven "PJ" Grant; and his siblings, Joyce Mason of Trinity, Kathy Lewis (Barry) of Thomasville, Edna Holt of Asheboro, Pamela West of Thomasville, Mary Martha Mitchem of Thomasville, Ronnie Grant of Thomasville and Rev. Roger Grant (Annette) of Thomasville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
