He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye Thigpen; his daughter Stacy Dehart (Joey) of Thomasville; his siblings, Don Allen Hughes (Myra) of Thomasville and Rhonda Smith (Vernon) of Wallburg; his granddaughter Patricia Price of Thomasville; his stepgrandchildren, Savannah Canham (Matthew) of Asheboro, Josh Dehart of High Point and Chandler Dehart of High Point; his niece Tonya Frost (Scott) of Thomasville; and his nephews, Mark Hughes (Tanya) of Silver Valley and Joe Rivers (Dottie) of Chesterfield, SC.. He is also survived by three step great-grandchildren.
