He was predeceased by: his parents, Sallie Bell Yates and Leon Nathaniel Yates. He is survived by: his children, Lorrie Yates Spivey (Bradley) and Bryan Yates (Tammi); his grandchildren, Shallon, Kirk, Julia, Macy, Reese, Pyper, Alysa and Chase; his great grandchildren, Saylor, Aria and Harper; and his close friend Brenda Santos.
