It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vickie Lynn Cox Duncan of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Vickie Lynn Cox departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Vickie Lynn Cox. Though Vickie Lynn Cox may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Eugene and Virgie May Hall Cox; and her sister Brenda Cox. She is survived by: her husband David Duncan; her son Jerry Stone of Archdale; her sisters, Bonnie Green of Trinity and Bobbie Johnson (Kenneth) of Trinity; her nieces, Mynda Swaim, Sonya Prevost and Leslie Green; and her nephew Vince Green.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - Archdale (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263).
