With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Lowman of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 1, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Wanda's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Wanda has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Seagraves and Lore Pearman Seagraves of Austinsville, VA.; her husband Paul Lowman; and her children, Sharon Elizabeth Slack and Paul Lowman, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Ann Smith (John), Connie Agee (Tony) of Vinton, VA, John Lowman (Robin) of Thomasville and Michael Lowman (Maria) of Durham. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Southgate Baptist Church (104 Cloniger Dr, Thomasville, NC 27360).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Southgate Baptist Church or the dementia research organization of the donors choice.
