It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Grubb of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay Grubb and Gradie Wilson Grubb. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Biesecker Grubb; his stepdaughters, Kelley Michael (William Gantt) of Florida and Molly Lanier (Stan) of Salisbury; his sister Emily Grubb Sink of Thomasville; and his grandchildren, Ali Lanier Parks (Nathan) and Tate Lanier.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Wayne's honor may be given to a local Humane Society or simply provide an act of kindness to someone in need.
