He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Stamey and Collie Lee Vestal Durham; and his former wife Alice Ann Forrester Durham. He is survived by: his wife Doris Koontz Durham; his children, Michelle D. Westervelt, William Stamey Durham, Jr. (Debet), Robert Durham and James Durham; and his brother Earl Durham. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144-2319).
