He was predeceased by: his parents, Windell Evans and Lula Blanche Canady Evans; his wife Shirley "Carolyn" Evans; and his sister Lucille Watts. He is survived by: his son Anthony M. Evans (Crystal) of Thomasville; his siblings, Wilbert "Shortie" McLamb (Katherine) of High Point and Webbie Evans of Ash; his grandsons, Bryce Evans (Amber) of Walnut Cove, Tanner Evans of Thomasville and Trevor Evans of Thomasville; and his great grandchildren, Skylar and Liam.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360).
