He is survived by: his sisters, Emma Ree Wiles of Traphill and Carolyn Martin of King; and his nieces and nephews, Anita Hall (Eric), Sandra Brown (Dale), Mary Ann Casstevens (Dean), Amanda Wagoner (Rodney), Monty Crouse and Dale Wiles.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elkin Funeral Service (560 North Carolina 268 W, Elkin, NC 28621). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Traphill Masonic Lodge No. 483 A.F. & A.M. or Mountain Valley Hospice.
