We are sad to announce that, on March 22, 2026, at the age of 87, Ruby Tucker Holcomb of Thurmond, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Wayne and Ruth Flynn Tucker; and her siblings, Archie Tucker and Gailya Bryant. She is survived by: her husband Tommy P. Holcomb; her sons, James Neal Holcomb (Lisa) of Thurmond and Timothy Wayne Holcomb (Lisa) of Elkin; her siblings, Johnny Tucker of Elkin, Patsy Wilson of Wake Forest, Cathy Settle (David) of Elkin and Jennie Melton of Winston Salem; and her grandchildren, Hailey Holcomb (Shane Bowlin), Drew Holcomb (Andrea), Colt Holcomb (Amber) and Colby Holcomb (Julie). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
