He is survived by: his wife Alice Britt Jones of Georgia; his children, Alia Jones-Harvey, Anthony Tyrone Everette, Steven Ricardo Everette, Milton Douglas Everette, Jr., Tracy Everette and Cathy Everette-Williams; and his cousins, Sandra Davis and Joseph Banks. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
