She was predeceased by : her parents, Archer "Buster" Whitt and Hettie Sue Whitfield Wilkerson; and her stepfather Lloyd Edward Wilkerson. She is survived by : her husband Donald Edward "Donnie" Brooks; her children, Brandon and Tiffany Brooks Montague (Jeremy) of Timberlake, NC; and her grandchildren, Jenna Brooks, Davis Brooks, Abby Montague and Carson Montague.
