He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Herbert Briggs and Ruth Lane Cates Carter; and his stepfather William Cecil Carter. He is survived by: his daughter Haisley Willow Briggs; his sisters, Felicia Briggs and Triscica White; and his siblings' children, Caitlin Thomas, Chasity White, Corey White and Cameron White.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Strickland and Jones Memorial Funeral Services (1810 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
