She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jones and Brenda "Dianne" Jones; her former husband Steven Crain Sr.; her stepson Steven Crain Jr.; her daughters, Erika and Brenda Crain; her aunt Sandra "Donnie" Wood; her uncle Talton Wood, Jr.; her grandparents, Talton and Elsie Wood; and her pet Dixie.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony "TJ" Jones (Samantha), James Schunke (Dallas), Joshua Crain and Jessica Crain Crutchfield (Joshua); her stepdaughter Abbie Jackson; her brother Bobby Crabtree (Jennifer); her aunts, Sarah "Kay" Hurst, Edith "Fay" Howerton and Beverly "Monnie" Oldham (Eddie); and her grandchildren, Shane Jones, Bentley Jones, Maddison Collins-Crutchfield, Shaea Jones, Henry Schunke, Samuel Schunke, Michael Schunke, Benjamin Schunke, Stella Schunke, Austin Burchett and Baby Boy Crutchfield. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hudson Funeral Home (211 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hudson Funeral Home Chapel (211 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703).
