He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl Turner and Stella Talley Turner. He is survived by: his wife Betty Turner; his daughters, Barbie McKinney (Olen) and Brenda Williams (Gregg); his grandchildren, Aaron McKinney and Samantha Williams Monroe (Ziggmond); and his siblings, Betty Sue Norman (Wendell), Mary Chambers (Tony) and Lyndon Turner (Bettie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Old Town Baptist Church (4386 Shattalon Dr, Winston-Salem, NC 27106). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at the Crestview Memorial Park (6850 University Pkwy, Rural Hall, NC 27045).
