He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bledsoe and Lennie Lewis Bledsoe; his wives, Polly Holman Bledsoe and Josephine Childers Bledsoe; and his siblings, Joyce Bledsoe, Tom Bledsoe, Jay Bledsoe and Leroy Bledsoe.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Bledsoe (Camara) of Wilkesboro and Danielle Hahn (Richard) of West Jefferson; his brothers, Sonny Bledsoe of Todd, Charles Bledsoe of Todd and Bobby Bledsoe of Todd; and his grandchildren, Cierra Bledsoe and Cayden Bledsoe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
